Three light switches are outside a room. Only one controls the light inside. You may flip the switches however you lik, but you may enter the room only once. Question: How can you determine which switch controls the light?

Hint: Think beyond what you can see.

Answer:

Turn on switch A for several minutes. Turn it off. Turn on Switch B. Enter the room.

Tip: If the light is on -- Switch B. If the light is off but the bulb is warm -- Switch A. If the light is off and cold - Switch C.

Turn on switch A for several minutes. Turn it off. Turn on Switch B. Enter the room.
